The Jewish People and the Jewish Religion

In English we watched two videos about Judaism (the Jewish Religion) and the Jewish people.

Some things I found out were The Kosher diet, The synagogue.

One thing I thought was interesting was the kosher diet that Jewish people follow and the certain

things they can and can't eat. Also how animals you can eat must be killed in a certain way for

it to be Kosher.

I would like to find out more about is the Kosher diet.

Elie Wiesel, Author of Night, Pages 3-5 Empathy Map

 Our English class is studying the memoir Night, by Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel. 

I worked in a group with Violet to create an Empathy Map for Elie at this age.

In this part of the book I think Elie was happy studying the Zohar with Moishe the Beadle. I think he was kind of annoyed with his dad not letting him study the Zohar because he was too young. But then I think he forgived him when he started studying it with Moishe.
